PORTRAIT: LUCA FRANKEN
This video is a portrait created as part of an assignment for my studies at RijnIJssel. Within a limited amount of time, the goal was to capture the essence of Luca Franken and translate his identity as a creator into a visual story.
Luca is deeply focused on sound and the powerful role audio plays in shaping the experience of a video. Because of this, sound design forms the backbone of the piece. Carefully chosen sounds, rhythm, and precise timing are used to enhance the visuals and create a stronger emotional and cinematic impact.
To reflect Luca’s creative style, the video also features fast, flashy edits. Dynamic transitions, energetic pacing, and visual effects come together to create a vibrant and expressive visual language that mirrors his passion for sound and bold editing.
